A Dispersed Anglican Religious Order

Anglican Order of Our Lady of Walsingham

Ad Jesum Per Mariam — To Jesus Through Mary.

Our Calling

A ministry of presence

Where the Benedictines profess stability and the Dominicans preach the Word, the Anglican Order of Our Lady of Walsingham professes presence — making Christ known in hospitals and homes, in chaplaincies and classrooms, in the quiet places where the world's need is greatest.

Drawn together by the Holy House of Nazareth, the Shrine of Walsingham, and the obedience of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we live a dispersed common life rooted in the Book of Common Prayer.

Spiritual Focus

Three wellsprings

I

The Holy House

Where Mary kept and pondered the Word, and where the Word became flesh in hidden, ordinary life.

II

The Shrine of Walsingham

England's Nazareth — a place of pilgrimage, hospitality, and the gentle authority of Our Lady.

III

The Common Prayer

The daily rhythm of Office and Eucharist that has shaped Anglican souls for five centuries.

Who We Are

A home for those who serve at the edges

The Order is a refuge and a rule for Christians whose ministry is carried out beyond the parish — in places of crisis, learning, healing, and watch.
